Services

We would like to introduce you to an extensive lawn care management program with competitive prices extended only by our commitment to excellence in lawn and garden care services.

Tree Maintenance

The purpose here is to assist the trees, allowing them to mature into healthy and sturdy specimens, future members of history.

  • Pruning will be performed (when appropriate) on all trees under 20 ft in height. There is an additional charge for pruning trees over 20 ft in height unless originally planted by E.L.M.
  • Staking and guying will be in effect as necessary and removed when no longer required. Girdling will be prevented through frequent checks of tree ties and other bands.
  • Trees requiring topping or major surgery will be reported with a proposed “plan of action.” At this time, a quote will be made available to expedite the repair of the damaged tree.

Lawn Care Program

We offer year-round care and maintenance of these areas

  • Lawn height will be maintained to the appropriate length, being cut as regularly as needed and not less than once every seven days
  • Edging and trimming will be performed before each mowing. This includes all curbs, walkways, tree wells, bed edges, and mowing strips.
  • All excess debris and clippings after mowing will be removed from the premises.
  • Moss and weed control applicators will be dispensed as needed throughout the year.
  • Insect control programs will be completed in the spring, i.e., Leather Jackets.
  • Lawns will be fertilized five times yearly (1 spring, 2 summers, 1 fall, 1 winter).
  • Lime is applied in the spring and fall.
  • Deep-core aeration of lawns performed in late spring.

Grub Damage Repair

The European chafer beetle is the primary beetle grub that damages lawns in BC, Canada.

These invasive pests' larvae feed on grass roots, causing brown, dead patches, and their presence also attracts wildlife like raccoons, skunks, and crows that further damage the turf by digging for the grubs.   The grubs are present in the soil from late summer through winter, which is when animals are most active in digging them up

Grub damage can turn a vibrant, healthy lawn into a patchy, spongy mess. These lawn pests feed on grass roots, quickly destroying your turf's connection to the soil.

Don't panic! Our comprehensive repair plan provides the best, most effective steps for lawn repair after a grub infestation, focusing on reseeding techniques, and preventative lawn care to ensure your grass grows back thick and healthy.
